Welcome to the Bedford Surveyors 1921 club. We aim to provide surveyors based in Bedfordshire and the surrounding areas an opportunity to share knowledge of current property matters including local infrastructure projects, legislative changes and best practice.
Our network of property professionals includes people working in a broad spectrum of property disciplines. We run monthly CPD events from October to April (GREAT VALUE at only £45 per annum) and we want to encourage more member engagement with the club to get back to where we were before Covid. We are hoping to encourage members to join, attend more regularly and stay to network afterwards.
We have put our programme of CPD events together with topics such as 'Black Cat Update', 'Renters Rights Act', 'BIM for (Building) Surveyors' and 'Sustainability'. Our expert speakers comprise a mix of club members and external professionals.
I hope you are encouraged to join the club, attend the events we are putting on and stay to network afterwards. I look forward to getting to know you all better across this years’ events.

Black Cat Project Update
Paul Salmon
Paul Salmon of National Highways will provide a timely update on one of the largest construction and infrastructure projects in the region. The new A421 and upgraded roundabout layout are expected to open in Spring 2027, followed by the final opening of the new A1 underpass in mid-Summer 2027.
